Calendar sync and turning email into events
Campbooks syncs your calendar two ways, using the same connection as your mailbox — there's no separate calendar login. When you connect a Google or Microsoft account, Campbooks also requests calendar access and provisions your calendar automatically.
Turn it on
- Connect a mailbox if you haven't yet — see Connect your mailbox.
- If you connected before calendar support was enabled, reconnect the account once from Settings → Email accounts to grant calendar access.
- Your primary calendar starts syncing automatically. Turn additional calendars on under Settings → Calendars.
See and edit your calendar
Open Calendar and switch between Agenda, Day, Week, and Month views. Create, edit, and delete events directly — changes sync back to your provider, and changes made elsewhere flow in. Each event can carry its own colour, and chips pick readable text automatically.
Create an event from an email
When an email mentions a meeting or a deadline, you don't have to retype it:
- Open the email (or find it via Scout or the command menu).
- Choose Create calendar event.
- Campbooks pre-fills the title, time, and location from the message — adjust anything, then save.
The new event links back to the email it came from, so the context is one tap away. You can trigger the same action from the inbox, the command menu, Scout, and workflows.
:::tip Reminders, too Campbooks can spot dated commitments in your email and documents and offer them as reminders you can confirm onto your calendar — look for them on your home feed and the Reminders page. :::
