Auto-tagging and document classification
When mail and attachments arrive, Campbooks classifies them automatically: it works out the category of an email, tags it, and — when there's a document attached — detects the document type (invoice, receipt, contract, statement, and so on) and pulls out the key fields.
How it files things
- A new email is ingested and Scout reads it.
- The email is categorized and tagged; attachments become Documents.
- Each document is classified by type and its details are extracted.
- Everything lands in the right place, ready for you to glance at and confirm.
You'll see documents under Documents, where you can filter by type, status, and date.
Two status axes
Every document carries two independent statuses, so you always know where it stands:
- AI status — whether Campbooks has finished processing it (analysed, processed, or needs attention).
- Review status — whether you have looked at it (pending, approved, rejected).
Campbooks does the first pass; you stay in control of the second. Nothing is treated as final until a person approves it.
Teach it your way
Classification isn't fixed. When you re-tag an email or reclassify a document, Campbooks remembers and applies what it learned to similar items in future. Over a few corrections, it settles into your categories and naming.
