I built Campbooks because I'm bad at email

I have neglected my email for as long as I've had an email address. Not in a dramatic way. In the ordinary way. I open it, I see forty things, I deal with the two that are on fire, and I close it again. The other thirty-eight wait. Some of them wait for months. A couple wait forever.

I'm a disorganized person. I've made my peace with that in most corners of my life, but email is the one place where being disorganized quietly costs other people something: the supplier who didn't get paid on time, the form that needed signing last week, the accountant asking, again, for the receipt I swore I'd already sent.

Campbooks v1 is out

Email is one of those things nobody likes and everybody keeps doing. Most of the tools for it gave up about a decade ago. We built Campbooks because we wanted one that handled more of the boring parts for us. Whether it's the right email client for you, we genuinely don't know. It's free to run, so you can find out without it costing you much.

Campbooks is an email client. The part that's different: it reads what comes in, attachments included, and does the filing. Invoices, receipts, contracts and the rest get sorted and turned into searchable documents, and what's left is a shorter list of mail that actually wants a reply. That's most of the pitch.
